DISCOVERING CHINA | Exploring Technology, Embracing Nature

On Jan.13th, a group of international students and HMT students participated in the city exploration trip called “Discovering China - Exploring Technology, Embracing Nature”.
GAC Technology Museum
In the morning, students first arrived GAC Technology Museum. Toured by the GAC staff, students visited exhibition areas such as Power Technology, NEV Technology, and Intelligent Connectivity, deeply experiencing GAC's hardcore R&D capabilities in its transformation towards new industrialization, informatization, urbanization, and agricultural modernization, as well as its innovative idea for future travel and life. Then students visited the smart factories of GAC MOTOR and GAC AION, where they learned about the latest product matrices of GAC's two major independent brands, and watched professional demos of ADiGO PILOT. The display of numerous intelligent technologies aroused their great interest, prompting them to ask on-site staff for more product details.
Mingzhu Agricultural Park
In the afternoon, students went to Mingzhu Agricultural Park. This remarkable place showcased a new chapter in the development of agriculture in Nansha to them. Within the park, the students witnessed advanced agricultural technologies firsthand, such as intelligent greenhouses, automated irrigation, and precision fertilization systems. They learned that these technologies not only minimize the demand for land, water resources, and chemical pesticides but also improve the quality and quantity of crops.The students were amazed to discover that China is rapidly advancing agricultural modernization.
The adorable strawberry is one of the most popular fruits of this season, students also immersed themselves in the joy of picking strawberries. Every student left the agricultural park with laughter and a bag brimming with their hand-picked fresh fruits, and a brand new understanding about the modern agriculture.
Through a one-day visit and study, the students had a close experience of the rapid development of modern agriculture and technology in Nansha, and had a deeper understanding of the connotation of Chinese path to modernization.
