Religion

31 Mar 2025

Foreigners in China may participate in religious activities at designated venues such as temples, palaces, mosques, and churches, but cannot hold lectures or gatherings in non-religious settings. They must adhere to Chinese laws, which prohibit the establishment of religious organizations, the appointment of religious staff, and missionary activities targeting Chinese citizens. Additionally, the production, sale, and distribution of religious materials, including books and propaganda, are not permitted.
